Who Are Our Adjudicators?
Broadway In Chicago adjudicators are qualified arts professionals in the state of Illinois who volunteer to evaluate high school musicals on behalf of our program.
Our adjudicators are trained by IHSMTA staff and attend participating productions and evaluate them based on IHSMTA criteria. Adjudicators are not asked to compare schools, rather, they assess a production’s overall quality as it pertains to each individual school’s ability to do their best work possible.
Adjudicators are selected each fall based on their qualifications and experience in musical theatre, directing, acting, vocal music, performing arts education and related fields. Adjudicators must have a valid email address and basic computer skills.
